We're always faced with a difficult decision about how to approach the biggest sale of the year.
Unfortunately Black Friday sales can encourage rushed purchases and overconsumption, which doesn't fit with our ethos.
Small independent businesses like ours cannot compete with big brands and their massive sales.
As we handcraft everything ourselves, here in the UK, our margins don't allow for huge discounts.
What does this mean for 2022?
However, this year we're all facing the reality of the current economic crisis.
We understand that you want to stretch your money as far as possible while continuing to shop consciously.

The Women's Centre Cornwall
This incredible charity is especially close to our hearts, as it's based near the Catch The Sunrise studio. The Women's Centre Cornwall are a specialist provider of services for women and girls (11 years+) who have experienced any form of sexual violence, rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and/or domestic abuse at any point in their lives.
They also work with women in the criminal justice system or who are at risk of offending; those who are facing extreme poverty, homelessness and hardship or those women and girls wanting to make a change in their lives.
They are dedicated to supporting and helping all women and teenage girls address the impact of the trauma they have experienced and to reclaim the life they want for themselves.
